The MyFax service provided by Voice2Net does not run on the same servers our voice service runs on, thus you cannot use an HT802 and autoprovision it to provide both voice and fax, you must use two seperate ATAs.

Using the HT801 ATA assumes you have an easy connection to the fax machine for the telephone line from the ATA and the ATA can connect to the network via a wired connection, it is not advisable to use a wifi extender.

You assign your fax number to point to the legacy fax server as instructed by Voice2Net then login to the fax server and provision the ATA such as you would with a voice ATA.  You will also need to ensure your account is created in the  myfax server.

If it is necessar to place the ATA next to the fax machine and it is a multi function device that has a internet connection, then you may use the HT812 and place it beside the fax machine and connect the network connection directly to the fax ATA then connect a second connection for the ATA to the MFC Printer/Fax machine.  Then you connect line 1 (not line 2) to the fax machine.
