Installing Security Cameras can be challenging
Installation of Security Cameras is not simple. Contact the experts at Voice2Net. With every one of our installations you get:
- Standard cat 5e cable for indoor camera installations or UV rated outdoor cable for outdoor installations. Most retail kits only come with indoor cable!
- Voice2net’s staff is certified for working at heights, they have all the specialized tools required to complete a safe and tidy installation.
- A Guarantee. We stand behind our work and in the event of an issue we will dispatch a technician promptly. We also make sure you are happy before we leave.
The average installation cost is $100 for each indoor camera and $120 for each external Camera, we can provide a custom quote for smaller installations or if was are upgrading your current system.
A site visit prior to a quotation or installation can advise on the best cameras to use and the correct placement. Features such as night lights, line crossing, intrusion, voice recording and ability to zoom can be discussed during the site visit.

Standard System Features
- Cross Line Detection: Cross line detection detects in real-time when an object crosses a defined point. When the object crosses a specified line in a surveillance camera’s field of view, the analytic can be set to send an alert and trigger an event recording.
- Intrusion Detection: The Intrusion feature is an intuitive Smart Detection method that is used to record break-ins or other criminal activity. With proper configuration Intrusion Detection is applicable for almost any scenario. It can be used for supervising a warehouse, bank, retail store, watching entries/exits and even windows. A virtual box around your entry/exit point can monitor any area for trespassing.
- Motion Detection: Motion detection cameras are capable of detecting motion. If there are significant pixel changes between two consecutive images, the cameras will conclude that there has been motion within the monitored area. With this feature, the user can configure a chain of events such as triggering there coding and sending out emails.
Advanced System Features
- Face Detection: Face detection is a Smart Detection function used to detect whether a face has appeared in a video feed. Once a face is detected, the camera then sends the information to the NVR to to trigger an event based on the configuration. This can include triggering a buzzer, email, recording, or pop-up window. Face detection will also take a snapshot which can then be found under VCA Search.

- Human Body Detection: Human Body Detection is a feature either embedded within a cameras analytics to improve the algorithm associated with identifying objects or a standalone alarm (Varies by model, please see camera spec sheet).For example: A camera may have Cross Line Detection based on human body detection which will only trigger when a human crosses the line or a camera will have a standalone alarm that can be set similar to Tampering alarm. You can also set this for Vehicles depending on the model.
